Orginal
Fundort: unbekannt, vermutlich Deutschland
Datierung: ca. 950 (siehe Beschreibung)
Material: Eisen
Verbleib: Glasgow Museum
Beschreibung: Condition very good. River-found. ... This swort, safely enough dateable within the Viking period (950 is a sort of dead-centre, give or take a couple of decades either way) and because of the form of its long, narrow cross is an excellent example of a swort of a kind which the Vikings called “GADDHJALT”, Spike-Hilt.
