Beschreibung: Iron saber with bronze cross-bar. A four-knotted button sits on either end of the cross-bar with a round patch that was originally inlaid with sheet silver on the obverse. Furrows for silver inlay in the form of a square set on its edge can be made out in the centre of the cross-bar. Transverse silver strips and round patches of silver were hammered into the bronze between the button and the square.
